Whenever I go to an exhibition at one of the London galleries, I always seem to end up in the gift shop. I find the goods that reflect the content of the exhibition very enticing!
Recently I saw an exhibition of David Hockney’s South Yorkshire images, which was really lovely, with purple paths and red tree trunks.
One of the items I spotted and bought was an umbrella with one of the images. I love it and it made me think.
So, after launching the luxury silk scarves with horse images, I wondered about designing an umbrella as well.
Working with the lovely people at The Paula Bolton collection I now have a horse branded umbrella to add to my collection.
It’s really smart and features Cortijero the Spanish stallion who also features on my unisex scarf.
There are four different images on the inside of the umbrella and tiny versions all around the edge of the outside.
I will be offering it on my stand at the Hickstead Derby 20-24th June 2018. Come and visit me on the stand – number 63 near the members entrance.
You can have a look and see if it’s for you!
